Ricky Gervais has revealed that Van Halen have tried to ban a cover of their song‘Jump’ recorded by television star Karl Pilkington.
According to The Sun, the classic rock band are so unimpressed with Pilkington’s rendition of the track – which he performed with an American chorus group for the latest series of his show An Idiot Abroad – The Bucket List - that they are preventing it from being screened in America or included on the programme’s DVD. However, it will still be shown in the UK.
